Sales Engineer Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for supporting our sales team by providing technical expertise to prospective customers. You will also be responsible for communicating and educating customers on our products and services. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and have a desire to help customers solve complex problems.

Sales Engineer Responsibilities

Act as a technical advisor, providing support to the sales team with the aim of closing deals.
Communicate technical information to non-technical customers clearly and concisely.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to identify and prioritize potential sales leads.
Create and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate the benefits of our products and services.
Conduct product demonstrations for prospective customers.
Manage the trial and evaluation process for our products.
Provide technical support for customers during the sales process.
Respond to technical inquiries from customers and provide solutions to their problems.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive products.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to non-technical customers
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to travel to customer sites when required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce
