Sales Engineer Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor, providing support to the sales team with the aim of closing deals.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical customers clearly and concisely.
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to identify and prioritize potential sales leads.
• Create and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate the benefits of our products and services.
• Conduct product demonstrations for prospective customers.
• Manage the trial and evaluation process for our products.
• Provide technical support for customers during the sales process.
• Respond to technical inquiries from customers and provide solutions to their problems.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive products.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to non-technical customers
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to travel to customer sites when required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce
