Our company has an exciting opportunity for a driven, focused, and knowledgeable IT Trainer to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tech and IT, along with previous experience in training others with valuable tech and IT information and practices. The focus of the role is to identify IT focused within the company and conduct training sessions to maximize their skills and potential, along with training and development of new and existing tech employees.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze current IT process functions, Identifying strong existing Tech talent within the business.
- Hold tech open events within the company to allow new potential tech talent to move into a tech or IT-focused role.
- Develop effective plans to improve various aspects of the IT training available in the company.
- Oversee and manage the company's new hire training programs for IT personnel.
- Lead the team members in training sessions and answer any questions they may have.
- Develop and implement effective training plans, content for training sessions, and matrixes to keep track of staff training.
- Use industry techniques to train IT personnel.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and solve potential issues relating to training and staff coverage.
- Collate data and information from various departments and use them to curate accurate training reports.
- Work with various department managers and executives to present and discuss information on training performance.
- Ensure continuous improvement plans are in place for regular training and development of tech personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of previous tech or IT industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar training role
- Strong understanding of staff relations and training demand
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Knowledge of industry IT training techniques and processes
- Ability to communicate with internal and external team members
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office platforms
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload
- Able to understand and work in line with SLA’s and KPIs
