Job Brief

Our company is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly received, stored, and shipped to customers in a timely and efficient manner. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records and keeping the warehouse organized and clean.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and compare them to purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Count and verify inventory before storing it in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure that products are properly labeled and packaged for transportation.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks as needed.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure that daily tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with computerized inventory systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Flexible schedule with availability to work overtime as needed
