We are in search of a VP of Talent Management to develop strategies to retain high potential employees and to ensure they can reach their full potential. You should have a solid comprehension of labor laws and work with employees in difficult situations.
Responsibilities
- Create, structure, and present employee training programs such as individual, team, management, and skill-based training.
- Ensure that our organization attracts and hires high-performing workers by overseeing the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring procedures.
- Assisting team members with their personal development.
- Conducting compensation and benefit benchmarking studies.
- Metrics of employee engagement are calculated (e.g. turnover rates, retention rates, etc.).
- Organizing performance review meetings on an annual and quarterly basis.
- Budget management and monitoring for the department.
- Creating organizational charts to define the responsibilities of each position.
- Conducting skills gap analyses to determine human requirements.
- Develop plans for position successions and employee promotion policies.
- Perform skill gap analysis to determine employee needs.
- Provide guidance to employees.
- Boost employee morale by creating bonus initiatives based on performance and targeted KPIs.
- Craft organizational charts and determine each position’s duties.
- Manage the department’s finances and budgeting.
- Provide team members with leadership and direction to achieve development goals.
- Conduct benchmark analyses of benefits and remuneration.
- Host performance review meetings.
Requirements
- Degree in HR, Psychology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a senior position managing talent
- Background in leading developmental programs
- Knowledge of industry compensation levels and salary packages
- Knowledge of labor laws
- Past experience with performance management processes
- Leadership skills
- Fantastic communication skills
