Our company has an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and personable Training Specialist to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in the delivery and management of various types of internal and external training. The key focus of the position is to deliver specialty training and ensure that the company delivers outstanding and comprehensive training to its employees.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department managers to ascertain suitability for training schedules and delivery of training.
- Liaise with department managers to understand their training needs.
- Deliver effective training sessions.
- Score and record the results of any examinations or tests related to training.
- Liaise with external training providers to collaborate on training delivery.
- Review training practices and ensure training is delivered in line with company policy.
- Develop regular reports to evidence training and improvement in training attendance and delivery.
- Work in line with department KPIs and SLAs.
- Tailor training and learning techniques to various audiences and in various subjects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in either human resources, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a focused training role
- Strong understanding of training processes, benefits, and more
- Ability to communicate with internal and external team members
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office platforms
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload
