Our company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and organized Training Coordinator to join our team! The ideal fit for the role will have a strong background in the coordination of personnel and be adept with the coordination of training and other internal and external activities. The key focus of the position is to support trainers in the coordination of training and training events.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with trainers in the training department to coordinate rooms, time, and external trainers to attend training sessions.
- Liaise with external training providers to book and coordinate training sessions within various departments.
- Review training schedules, and ensure calendars are scheduled correctly.
- Coordinate refreshments, materials, etc., required for training sessions.
- Liaise with department managers to secure coverage for the department whilst training is in place.
- Keep track of training, expiry of training, and certificates, and keep the internal system up to date.
- Coordinate the delivery of certificates of training to the correct personnel.
- Develop and implement effective training matrixes to keep track of the training.
- Liaise with external training providers to onboard them as certified trainers, and obtain all relevant paperwork, such as insurance.
Requirements
- Associate degree or above in either human resources, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of training processes, benefits, etc
- Ability to communicate with internal and external team members
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office platforms
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload
