Our company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, service-focused Training Consultant to join our team! Our ideal fit for the role will have a proven background in developing and implementing training plans and frameworks to best suit the company’s needs. The key focus of the position will be to analyze current training processes, review and amend them as required, or implement new training initiatives within the business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with trainers in the training department to ascertain their needs from training and what the current process is.
- Assist with the review of external training providers and the implementation of new partners.
- Review and analyze internal training procedures, making recommendations for change as appropriate.
- Review and analyze the training budget, ensuring funding is sufficient, and make recommendations on increasing or decreasing the budget as needed.
- Develop and implement effective training matrixes to keep track of the training.
- Review and analyze each department's training needs.
- Collaborate with department managers to ascertain their needs and wants from training in their department.
- Liaise with external training providers to onboard them as certified trainers, and obtain all relevant paperwork such as insurance, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of training processes, benefits, etc
- Ability to communicate with internal and external team members
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office platforms
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload
