We are seeking to hire a qualified Test Engineer For the purpose of creating and implementing quality-control procedures for our products. As a test engineer, your duties will include examining the features of the product, creating custom quality checks, designing test parameters, and documenting final test procedures for the quality technicians. The ideal candidate should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of engineering and product design, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to think creatively if you want to succeed as a test engineer. In the end, a top-tier test engineer can develop quick but thorough quality-check procedures to guarantee a product's peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Attending meetings to decide on the specifications for product testing with the product design team.
- Developing test cases and test plans for the product.
- Performing quality control and creating performance tests utilizing the new testing techniques.
- Improving the testing processes and troubleshooting any errors.
- Preparing the quality technicians' final QA and test procedures.
- Educating the quality assurance team's personnel and offering technical assistance as required.
- Ensuring that all procedures and tests adhere to business and industry standards.
- Creating management-facing test reports.
- Schedule and run automated test scripts on the proper hardware during the test period.
- Create and implement testing for the hardware and software elements.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or engineering.
- Proven track record as a test engineer.
- Working knowledge of testing software such as Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, and LabVIEW.
- Working familiarity with diagramming applications like Gliffy, Microsoft Viso, and AutoCAD
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering and testing techniques
- Proven ability to solve problems
