We are seeking an experienced, driven, dynamic, and detail orientated Social Services Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be adept in the coordination, execution, and implementation of programs and their effectiveness. This role requires a caring, focused, and driven approach to omitting positive change in a very diverse community.
Responsibilities
- Work within local communities to identify programs that can add value to the community and its residents.
- Manage and oversee the administration and implementation of programs and projects to effectively meet stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee the program performance and use data analysis to ensure the effectiveness and uptake of the program in the specific area.
- Consistently suggest, develop and implement improvements to all programs and services where necessary.
- Effectively plan, manage, operate, and drive marketing initiatives to advertise and increase community awareness of programs and projects taking place to ensure that the maximum uptake is taken and the maximum number of people benefit from the initiative.
Requirements
- Bachelors or above in Health and Social Care
- Minimum of 2 years experience with either an internship/work experience
- Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Professional communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with persons of all levels, from members of the community to CEO’s and stakeholders
- Forward-thinking leadership skills with the ability to delegate and lead a diverse team to success
Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect, analyze and rebuild problems until a solution is found - Able to effectively prioritize their workload, with the joint ability to work well under pressure and to agreed on deadlines and time scales
- Effective time management is essential, providing time and understanding to people in the community as well as personal and professional time management within the role in order to complete duties and programs effectively and within the agreed timescale
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to agreed deadlines
