Job brief
We are seeking a detail-focused, proactive, and friendly Senior Service Advisor to join our team! The ideal fit for the role will have a strong background in customer services and/or sales, and be confident in speaking with and advising customers. The key focus of the position is to give information to customers about the services offered and to ascertain what services they may need for their vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers information regarding the outcome of their service and book appointments for remedial or further work to be completed.
- Assist customers with understanding their warranty protection, inclusions, and exclusions.
- Make recommendations on fixing their vehicle vs. trading it in for a newer model.
- Oversee the dealership's workflow and schedule, ensuring all appointments are scheduled accurately with the repair and maintenance department.
- Phone customers to let them know when their vehicle is ready to collect.
- Provide excellent customer service to maintain strong relationships and repeat business.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or above
- 2-years' previous experience in a customer-focused role
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with scheduling software and basic computer programs
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- A keen eye for details
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within service-level agreements
- Confident and polite telephone manner
