Senior Financial Analyst Job Description

Job Brief 

We're looking for a  Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team and deliver valuable financial insights to guide our business decisions. 

The ideal candidate will create financial models, scrutinize financial data, generate financial reports, and propose recommendations to senior management. 

We're looking for someone with a proven track record of exceptional analytical skills, financial modeling experience, and the ability to collaborate well with others in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
• Monitor financial performance and develop metrics to track progress.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Help in creating financial reports to present to higher-ups and external parties.
• Provide support to other areas of finance as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in financial modeling, including proficiency in Excel
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is preferred
