Job brief
We are looking for an aggressive Senior Estimator to join our team! As our Senior Estimator, you would be responsible for reviewing plans and projects and creating competitive and accurate estimates that will enable us to win the bid.
Responsibilities
- Review plans and accurately estimate the time, labor, materials, and equipment needed to complete the process.
- Create a competitive bid designed to win the bid.
- Follow up with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors once a bid is received to ensure that the project can be completed within the needed timeframe and budget.
- Update management on project status and completion.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors to get the best price and quality possible.
- Work with other team members to effectively plan and execute a project within the specified budget and timeline.
Requirements
- Strong research and time management skills
- Degree and past experience in a related field are required
- Must have a very critical and analytical mind that can foresee and mitigate problems
- Must be highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to submit bids on time, every time
