Job brief
We are looking for a strong leader to join our team as a Senior Construction Manager! As our Senior-level Construction Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing the planning and completion of our construction projects by working closely with laborers, contractors, and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Carefully review construction plans and create a competitive schedule for the project.
- Oversee and manage other construction managers and supervisors as assigned.
- Ensure that all the needed materials, workers, and equipment are ready to work.
- Pay close attention that all job sites are in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction workers to ensure that the construction tasks are completed on time and in the necessary order.
- Track inventory.
- Prepare and manage all reports needed for the completion of a project.
- Ensure that correct and safe construction practices are being used during construction.
Requirements
- Past work experience as a construction manager is strongly preferred
- A BS in a related field is required
- In-depth knowledge of a variety of construction methods and practices
- Up-to-date knowledge of all rules and regulations as they apply to construction
- Excellent planner
- Able to look forward to mitigating risks and crisis
- Must be a strong leader and communicator
- Must possess superb time management and planning skills
