Senior Asset Manager job description

Job brief

We are seeking a detail-focused, proactive, and professional Senior Asset Manager to join our team! The ideal fit for the role will have a strong background in Asset management within a business environment. The focus of the role is to monitor, evaluate and make suggestions on the company's assets and capital, aiming to maximize the return on investments.

Responsibilities

• Complete analysis and take inventory of company assets.
• Liaise with suppliers and investors to obtain the best possible return and price for assets.
• Invest money on behalf of the company, accounting for up-and-coming projects.
• Collaborate with asset management companies and keep track of the latest technologies.
• Ensure that all financial records are up to date, accurate, and maintained.
• Assisting with the development of the finance and forecast budgets and producing reports on the same.
• Assisting with maximizing profitability to ensure that assets are invested wisely and with the best possible return.
• Conduct work from the company office and make site visits to clients, investors, or sellers when required.
• Supervise and manage subordinates as required.

Requirements

• An associate degree in business management, business finance, or a related field would be an advantage
• 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Certification in asset management from the relevant provider in your region
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and track trends from data
• Good report-writing skills 
• Ability to use various computer systems and quickly learn new technologies
• Able to work independently
• Strong financial mindset with good math skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of the local investment market
