Job brief
We require a senior analyst to provide statistical data, income statement analysis, variance analysis, and other portfolio metrics for our company.
You will give management daily reports on the VaR and Backtest Investigations business actions for review.
To ensure the capture of new deals and the reconciliation of positions, you must engage with other business units. You must also make sure that self-assessment evaluations are carried out in compliance with Capital Market Risk Management Standards.
Responsibilities
- Research and development on multiple risk components, modeling ideas, and data analysis.
- Serve as a mentor to co-op students and other analysts.
- Provide the manager with a backup plan.
- Consolidated management reporting and analysis should be prepared.
- Recognize problems and trends to foresee change.
- Offer all-inclusive solutions and therapies.
- Creates and keeps up with financial models and dashboards.
- Maintains projection models to accommodate multiple vendor agreements and offers important variance analysis.
- Help with the weekly key performance indicator metric report creation for vendor deals.
- Enhances service management systems through research of current methods.
- Analyze the spend categories, track the improvement in categorization accuracy, and find/address the root reasons for fluctuation.
- Process flow diagram for fields in master data like category hierarchy.
- Recognize Master Data fields and category hierarchy improvement opportunities.
- Create projections, analyses, and presentations for the Senior managers that are both internal and external.
- Analyze vendor invoice reporting pertaining to rebates and by title impact and support and aid the director in doing so.
Requirements
- BSC/BA in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields
- CPA certification/Advance degree may be required
- Proven work record as a Senior Analyst
- Experience in overhead budgeting is preferable
- Variance Analysis knowledge is preferred
- Must be able to work independently and manage various tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere. Must be detail-oriented and be able to plan and schedule work effectively
- Must be able to Process Mandatory Corporate Action events throughout all business streams in all international markets, excluding APAC, from beginning to end
