A Security Officer supervises the security guards within their team. They will often provide onboarding training for new security guards, implement standard operating procedures, and maintain activity reports on behalf of their security management.

Job brief
We are seeking a reliable and mature Security Officer to oversee our team of security guards. The ideal candidate should be able to carry out their duties well under pressure and communicate efficiently with their supervisors and team.
Responsibilities
Maintain strong working relationships and rapport with local law enforcement agencies.
Patrol assigned area/zone and secure the premises.
Investigate suspicious activity.
Provide emergency assistance.
Escort trespassers from the premises.
Respond to observed or reported suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
At least one year of experience as a security guard
Must demonstrate the ability to remain calm under pressure and in situations that may escalate into violence
CPR/First Aid Certified
Must be able to pass drug analysis
Must be able to pass a background check with no prior convictions for felony or misdemeanor
