Job brief
We are in search of a Sales Director who can craft and implement sales plans from start to finish while leading a large sales team. The ideal candidate also possesses a successful track record of exceeding targets and the ability to mentor other team members.
Responsibilities
- Exceed sales objectives for the assigned accounts and territories.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Design and implement strategies to achieve KPIs and grow the customer base.
- Meet with clients to understand their business goals and needs.
- Present value propositions to prospects through presentations and proposals.
- Keep track of and learn trends that are category-specific.
- Grow the team’s performance.
- Organize seminars and other sales training events for team members.
- Report to upper management periodically and present to board members.
- Investigate and seek out possible significant clients, with the goal of forming mutually beneficial relationships.
- Identify emerging markets that may be beneficial to the company.
- Keep track of market fluctuations and develop sales strategies to help you handle them successfully.
- Train and supervise a team of sales managers to ensure a cohesive sales force.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Past experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of exceeding targets
- Experience in creating sales plans from start to finish
- Ability to pitch product and services and communicate prospects including C-level
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Fantastic negotiation and communicative skills
