Job brief
We need an extremely knowledgeable Safety Engineer to join our team. In this position, you would have the responsibility to ensure the safety of our facilities and team in case of an accident or natural disaster.
Responsibilities
- Design and present training to teach our staff how to remain safe in the event of a disaster.
- Provide regular training regarding the safe usage of company equipment and processes.
- Create different methods to mitigate health and safety risks.
- Inspect facilities, machinery, and processes to identify ways in which risks can be minimized.
- Remain up to date on any new rules and regulations regarding health and safety in the workplace.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification
- Must be a very diligent, hard worker
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Must possess a sharp eye
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong ability to solve difficult problems
- Must be able to effectively multitask
