Job brief
We are seeking a detail-focused, knowledgeable and professional Robotics Engineer to join our team! The ideal fit for the role will have a strong background in Engineering with a focus on the robotics market. The key focus of the position role will be to investigate and research robotics market trends and develop prototypes for robots to be used in commercial or factory settings.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic prototypes and test them for viability.
- Construct final robot models, test them and debug any software or functions that are causing issues in the machine.
- Operate, calibrate, and ensure proper maintenance of robotic equipment.
- Ensure the safe operation of robotic machinery.
- Ensure the dependability and precision of robotic equipment.
- Identify the need for changes and modifications and implement them when required.
- Use patents, diagrams, or drawings to construct prototypes.
- Assist with cost estimates, project planning, and achievements.
- Work in full alignment with health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related field
- Demonstrated experience in a robotics engineering role
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and diagrams
- Strong ability to effectively manage projects
- Strong analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety guidelines
- Good report writing skills
- Strong manual dexterity
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize own time and workload
