Job brief
We are seeking a risk specialist who will support us on a daily basis by imparting knowledge and skill regarding the proper application of laws, rules, and industry standards through protocols, other rules, and best practices.
As a specialist, you will manage risk assessments, conduct investigations, and report incidents to the appropriate regulatory bodies.
Ultimately, you will be required to manage our client by supporting and monitoring the completion of all risk assessments and control testing for adequacy.
Responsibilities
- On behalf of the larger audit team, establish and maintain productive working relationships with important business partners in their given region while acting as a Subject Matter Expert for that area.
- Utilize the annual performance review process, mentoring, and constant feedback to efficiently manage and build the audit team.
- Information must be delivered in a clear and organized manner, with audience needs in mind.
- Uses specialist knowledge and abilities to give management an understanding of the area of concentration.
- Monitoring contributors' adherence to the project schedules.
- Arranging extra sessions as necessary to address difficulties.
- Working together to write important SOPs and WPs for ASR processes.
- Meeting clients.
- Examine the contracts and available collateral.
- Establishing policies that address areas of legal, regulatory, or other compliance risks that have an influence on operations should be done in coordination with management.
- Support and keep an eye on the completion of control testing for sufficiency and effectiveness.
- According to legal requirements, create risk assessments and compliance audits and carry them out.
- Maintain records that can be used as proof—by regulatory agencies—that the proper analysis and mitigation measures were taken.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, law, finance, international trade, or other related fields
- Team player, yet capable of working without much direction
- A change agent who prioritizes improvements
- Preference will be given to candidates with noteworthy experience in organizational change management, particularly business process evaluation and risk management formulation and execution in a non-profit international organization
- A track record of success in creating and designing management information systems that assist risk identification, assessment, evaluation, and reporting
- The capacity to balance multiple deadlines stays focused, and be patient
- Direct contact with executive leadership experience (Business and IT)
- Teamwork is used to complete the work, and there are daily internal deadlines
