Job brief
We're seeking a risk and compliance investigator whose main duty will be to make sure that every component of the facility or business complies with all rules and regulations, including laws and standards set by the government. Their duties include conducting investigations, identifying risks, conducting routine inspections, acquiring and evaluating documents, and conducting interviews and evaluations.
Requirements
- Deliver status updates, analytics, and reports on time.
- Offer assistance to the Risk & Compliance Manager and Senior Advisers so they can help managers create and maintain their risk registers.
- Track and investigate Independent Risk Assessment group deliverables against target dates.
- Manage the corporate risk and control assessment reporting process.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure elements (e.g., risk management reporting, including reporting to senior management).
- Using a risk-based approach, oversee compliance operations and their results, and ensure that they are carried out methodically throughout the various business sectors and core businesses in accordance with Service Agreements.
- Establishment of senior operating committees' issue reporting.
- Ensure that staff and managers are aware of their duties and accountability and that they have received the necessary training regarding HSE and related regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Make recommendations on complex risk issues or products, deal structures, and policy creation.
- Establish and preserve solid connections with key business stakeholders, and make sure that roles and duties related to risk management and compliance are understood and assigned.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of work experience in risk and compliance or a similar subject
- Certification in (CISA, CRISC, etc.) compliance is an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree in IT Compliance & Risk Management or a closely related discipline
- Ability to organize the utilization of outside resources for the information security program, including but not limited to managing and conducting interviews with outside resources
- Knowledge of data administration and data aggregation is an added advantage
