Job brief
We are seeking a detail-focused, responsible, and experienced Repair Station Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in quality assessment and inspection with a keen eye for details and be adept with record keeping and sign-offs. The focus of the role is to ensure that all repair work carried out is to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Inspect repair and maintenance tasks done by the maintenance team.
- Provide final sign-off after inspections have been completed.
- Keep logs of paperwork, audits, and sign-offs for each repair job completed.
- Perform AD research as required.
- Monitor aircraft logbook entries and other documents for accuracy.
- Ensure thoroughness of maintenance performed.
- Work in line with health and safety regulations.
- Always follow the standard operating procedures.
- Liaise with maintenance and engineering departments to advise of unsatisfactory work and instruct on remedial action required.
- Perform re-inspections where required before final sign-off.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or aeronautical engineering
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience within a quality assessing role in the related field
- Excellent attention to detail and analysis abilities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized and capable of prioritizing own workload
- Good math skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office
