Production Planner Job Description

Job brief

We need a qualified Production Planner to organize production in accordance with requirements and quality requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that our goods are produced on schedule and distributed profitably.

An excellent production planner understands production techniques and how to improve them. They are well-organized and results-oriented, with excellent problem-solving abilities. Advanced interpersonal and computer abilities are required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Determine the amount of personnel, equipment, and raw resources required to meet manufacturing demand.
• Acquire the output data.
• Work with quality assurance, logistics, and other personnel.
• Address difficulties when they emerge, with the goal of causing the least amount of interruption.
• Work with quality control, warehousing, and other personnel.
• Ensure on-time delivery by keeping track of each customer order from the time it is committed until the time it is shipped.
• Arrange and evaluate material availability to verify that the essential items are prepared as planned and can be accelerated as needed.
• Allocate workers and other personnel to certain industrial operations.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a production planner
• A bachelor's degree in any related discipline is required
• At least three years of production and material planning experience is required
• Outstanding understanding of production planning and quality control principles
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• Oracle or comparable experience is preferred
