Job brief
We are seeking a Procurement Manager responsible for the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services for the company’s manufacturing. The Procurement Manager must be able to lead, negotiate, and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, distributors, and management.
Responsibilities
- Research and compare costs between suppliers.
- Identify new channels through which to gather goods.
- Provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers and distributors to reduce costs.
- Monitor the delivery of goods.
- Oversee the shipment of goods into and out of the country.
- Categorize product lines and organize warehouse storage accordingly.
- Evaluate supplier performance through the company’s internal scoring system.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration
- 5+ years experience in procurement and FMCG
- Highly organized
- Good communication skills
- Willing to work overtime, at night, and weekends on short notice
