Job brief

We are seeking a detail-focused, knowledgeable and professional Process Engineer to join our team! The ideal fit for the role will have a strong background in process engineering and be adept with the required procedures and protocols. The key focus of the position is to engineer new and innovative processes and improve productivity from existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective process strategies.
• Effectively manage process resources.
• Ensure all process documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Ensure efficiency of production is maintained.
• Develop process improvements to reduce cost and increase output.
• Write risk assessments for specific tasks.
• Ensure processes comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures for production.
• Design, test and authorize upgrades to new process systems.
• Work in line with health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in an Engineering field or similar
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Ability to read, develop, and understand technical drawings and diagrams
• Good dexterity and ability to work with your hands
• Strong computer skills
• Strong analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work to agreed deadlines and timescales
• Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety guidelines
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize own time and workload
