We are seeking a skilled Preloader UPS Specialist to join our team. As a Preloader Ups Specialist, you will be responsible for handling the loading and unloading of packages from UPS delivery trucks. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all packages are sorted, scanned and processed according to the company's established protocols. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

Preloader UPS Specialist responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from UPS delivery trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Scan each package to verify its contents and ensure proper tracking.
• Sort packages into designated sections based on delivery routes or destinations.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies, such as damaged or missing packages.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Follow all established safety protocols to prevent workplace injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Preloader Ups Specialist or similar role preferred
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift packages of up to 50 pounds regularly
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Familiarity with tracking, sorting, and scanning procedures preferred
