Job brief
We are seeking a caring Physical Therapist to join our growing team. This person would act as our patients’ advocate and partner on their road to recovery. Patient quality of life and range of motion should be the main focus of the physical therapist.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose patients in areas of injury.
- Treat pediatric patients in need of physical therapy.
- Educate and train parents, patients, and caregivers.
- Collaborate with other therapists and assistants.
- Commute to multiple medical centers.
- Consulting with physicians to better understand patient needs.
- Writing reports on patients regarding overall progress.
- Design wellness and fitness-oriented programs to meet patients’ specific needs.
- Directing and supervising other medical personnel as required.
- Assesses and interprets examinations and test results to provide high-quality care.
- Evaluates and records the progress of the patient, adjusting treatment plans as needed and trying new treatments if necessary.
- Instructs patients on how to perform suitable exercises and therapies at home.
Requirements
- Graduate degree minimum in physical therapy
- Valid license to exercise physical therapy
- Experience in pediatrics is a plus
- Be people-oriented and able to manage patients with different personalities
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of current treatment practices
