We are looking for a diligent packer to join our team. As a packer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly packaged and delivered to customers safely. Packer responsibilities

• Pack and wrap products in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
• Check the accuracy of product orders to ensure that there are no discrepancies.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure that daily quotas are met.
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment carefully and efficiently, following standard operating procedures at all times.
• Keep up with production schedules, ensuring that all targets are met within acceptable timeframes.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns immediately.
• Participate in safety programs to minimize workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or a similar industry is preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Must possess physical stamina and endurance to pack products for extended periods of time
• Must have excellent attention to detail, especially when working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and lift heavy objects of up to 40 pounds
• Must be willing to work in a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
