Job brief

We need a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team! As our Mechanical Engineer, you would be responsible for aiding with the designing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting of new equipment and systems for our company.

Responsibilities

• Analyze our current systems and equipment to determine what areas need improvement.
• Run tests and experiments to determine the best method of solving current problems, and use your findings to design new, effective systems.
• Draw up a set of plans for your new design and create an accurate budget and timeframe for the project to present to project managers and any other engineers involved in the project.
• Ensure that all systems and equipment are in compliance with our safety regulations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required, while a master’s degree is preferred
• Must have a current engineering license, as well as experience working in a related field
• Must possess a highly analytical mind that is adept at finding solutions to problems
• Must be able to clearly communicate ideas to their team and be a strong leader and team player
• Must be highly skilled with computers and be confident running engineering programs such as CAD, CAM, and Matlab/Labview programs
• Must be able to interpret simulations and test data gathered
