We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and professional Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our team! The Idea candidate will have a strong background in providing care to women in these areas. The focus of the role is to investigate, diagnose and treat pelvic and gynecological issues that arise in women, along with assisting and monitoring women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat various pelvic, breast, and gynecological diseases and conditions.
- Consult with patients to provide relevant and effective treatment
- Conduct various scans such as breast scans, ultrasounds, and internal investigative scans.
- Prescribe and recommend suitable medication and treatments to patients.
- Monitor patients' progress and recovery and support them along the way.
- Keep up-to-date notes of changes in conditions or improvements in the patients' files.
- Ensure that pregnant and postpartum mothers receive the monitoring and care they need.
- Ensure that patients have an understanding of any present disease or condition.
- Make patient referrals to other healthcare services where needed.
- Work in line with patient confidentiality guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Doctorate of Medicine degree
- Four years residency placements in OB-GYN
- Board certification and license in your place of operation
- Previous experience practicing medicine
- Proven diagnostic and investigative skills
- Kind and compassionate in nature
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent relationship-building abilities
- Effective management and administration skills
