Job brief

We are seeking a professional, dynamic, and personable Nurse Educator to join our team! The ideal candidate must demonstrate a wealth of experience in the nursing industry and have completed at least five years of practical nursing work. The focus of the role is to develop and implement curricula to educate fellow nurses on various procedures, best practices, and evolving medical and nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop curricula for nurses.
• Teach and guide qualified student nurses.
• Evaluate nurses' and students’ progress and provide reports on their progress and recommend areas of possible improvement.
• Write, review, and analyze learning material and documents.
• Maintain knowledge of the industry and keep up to date with industry best practices.
• A motivational and dedicated teacher, adaptable to different learning styles and methods.
• Regularly review and amend educational material or curricula where required.
• Provide support and guidance to learning nurses and students.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field
• Minimum of five years’ experience in hands-on nursing
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within the nursing sector
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Adaptable to changing educational requirements for nurses
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and educate others
• Good computer skills, using EMR systems, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent report writing skills
• Great attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
