Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to guide the organization's growth and development.
- Lead and motivate staff and volunteers to achieve the organization's goals.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
- Manage the organization's finances, including budgeting, financial reporting, and oversight of grants and contracts.
- Develop and oversee programs that align with the organization's mission and strategic plan.
- Cultivate relationships with community leaders, donors, and other stakeholders to raise awareness of the organization's work and secure funding.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.
- Serve as the public face of the organization and represent it at events and in the media.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., non-profit management, business, public administration)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in non-profit leadership, with a proven track record of success
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers
- Strong fundraising skills, including experience with major gift solicitation and grant writing
- Excellent strategic planning and program development skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and ethical standards in the non-profit sector
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners
- Passion for the non-profit sector and a commitment to the organization's mission
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
