The National Sales Manager is a key position in the company’s strategy for building its sales pipeline. The candidate will be in charge of building and running a high-performance sales team to effectively achieve business objectives. The candidate will ensure that the sales goals of the company are met all across the country. Ultimately, you’ll help the company meet and exceed business expectations and be a key contributor to the company’s growth. This position requires extensive networking, and in-person presentation and management skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute effective direct sales strategies and lead nationwide sales personnel.
- Develop sales plans, including target groups, marketing tactics, and timelines.
- Provide leadership through effective communication of objectives, agile coaching, and development while meeting sales goals.
- Provide budget control, compensation programs, sales management, and incentive planning.
- Increase customer retention through communication and problem-solving.
- Estimate sales revenue.
- Prepare and maintain budgets for the department.
- Identify new potential customers and market opportunities.
- Recommend new services and products by evaluating the current industry trend.
- Liaise with the marketing team to ensure the timely delivery of marketing stocks that drive sales.
- Monitor and analyze the company’s sales procedures and performance metrics.
- Prepare transaction reports and maintain expense accounts using the system to generate quotations, invoices, and receipts.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, being aware of competitor activities to remain ahead of the curve.
Requirements
- 10 years of sales experience, including 2 years in a similar position
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
- Ability to travel extensively
- Excellent negotiation skills with a customer service attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills, self-motivated, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to make decisions independently
