We are looking for a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You will play a crucial role in healthcare by ensuring accurate and timely test results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to microbiology, hematology, chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.
- Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Perform and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in medical technology and laboratory techniques.
- Assist in the training of other laboratory staff members.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized accrediting agency, such as the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA)
- Working knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
