Job brief
We are seeking a materials engineer to assess materials and create manufacturing equipment and processes for materials that will be used in products that must adhere to precise design and performance requirements.
As an engineer, you'll collaborate with management and other engineers to create new products and enhance existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Develop and assess new projects, consulting with managers and other engineers as needed
- Create budgets and proposals, research labor expenses, produce reports, and perform other managerial duties.
- oversee the work of technicians, engineers, and other scientists and engineers
- Create and oversee the testing of processing techniques
- Keep an eye on how materials behave and assess how they age
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Engineering
- Experience in materials engineering or related field
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
