Mason Supervisor job description

Job brief

We are looking to hire a skilled Mason Supervisor- a construction professional who works with several materials on a job, such as stone, concrete, and tile, and is able to supervise and delegate such roles to others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other masons on the job.
• Help in developing the layout, sheathing, framing, and structuring of roofs.
• Utilize equipment as well as tools safely in every basic task of construction.
• Rectify the safety hazards as well as report to the manager or concerned person.
• Able to read and comprehend technical drawings.
• Train beginners to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Mix cement and mortar on the job site as needed.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience in masonry or a similar job role
• Must have work experience in the construction field
• Masonry certification preferred
• Other related certificates are a plus
