We are looking for a skilled and talented Makeup Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to create flawless makeup looks that enhance clients' natural beauty and align with their vision. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clientele and provide a memorable experience for each of them.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences and offer expert advice on different makeup looks, matching their skin tone, and facial features.
• Select, apply, and blend various makeup products such as foundation, eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, and lipstick to create natural or bold looks depending on the clients' needs.
• Create makeup looks for clients attending events such as weddings, photoshoots, or other special occasions.
• Stay up-to-date with current makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations to provide excellent service and advice to clients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of all makeup tools, equipment, and workspaces before and after use.
• Build a network of clients by promoting services through social media platforms and attending networking events.
• Upsell other beauty services or products to clients to enhance their overall experience.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Makeup Artist
• A portfolio that showcases your previous makeup work and demonstrates your skills and versatility
• Knowledge of different skin types and tones and the ability to match them with appropriate products
• Familiarity with different makeup brands, techniques, and current trends
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Certification or diploma in makeup artistry or a related field is preferred
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
