We are hiring! We want you to become part of our team as a Load Planner. We’re looking for a strategic, responsible individual who will be able to work for our company. As Load Planner, you would be responsible for planning the shipment projects and operations, maintaining financial goals, and overseeing the facility.
Responsibilities
- Carry out administrative duties for the inventory and shipment such as invoices, receipts, and tracking numbers, etc.
- Find the most cost-effective and efficient routes for drivers.
- Track deliveries and progress.
- Keep records of all shipments coming in and going out.
- Ensure insurance coverage for all goods.
- Use shipping software to enter and store shipping information.
- Communicate with vendors and manufacturers on shipments.
- Inform clients about transportation and methods of payment.
- Safeguard storage and the operations for the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies to reduce surplus or insufficiency.
- Create logistics to monitor inventory and storage.
- Conduct regular examination of supplies to ensure quality.
- Conduct detailed reports on inventory.
- Develop and follow operational policies and procedures that align with federal legislation.
- Ensuring safety of staff and authorized persons on site.
- Monitor quality of service by staff.
Requirement
- Associate’s degree or above in management, logistics, or another related field
- Driver’s license will be essential
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and able to communicate with persons at all levels
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Knowledgeable in inventory software
- Knowledgeable in warehouse safety
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong Math skills
