We are looking to hire a highly-skilled Legal Counsel to add to our team! This role will focus on keeping our executive members up to date on laws and regulations that apply to the performance of the company.
Responsibilities
- Act as a company representative as necessary.
- Handle changes in law and regulation in such a way that helps our business advance.
- Work with management to create defense strategies.
- Safeguard the company’s reputation by ensuring our processes are in compliance with laws.
- Evaluate any risk factors for new business decisions.
- Create relationships built on trust with external parties.
- Clarify any legal language as needed to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Solution-based mentality
- Proactive team member
- Strong analytical skills
- Up to date on new laws and regulations
- Previous work experience is a plus
