Job brief
We are looking for a reputable Lead Process Safety Engineer to add to our team! You will be responsible for designing and inspecting our manufacturing equipment to protect the safety and efficiency of our employees.
Responsibilities
- Manage a strong HAZOP program to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide technical support to our manufacturing team throughout the projects to ensure they are able to successfully complete the tasks assigned to them.
- Collaborate with other teams leads to determine ways in which to improve processes for safety and productivity.
- Conduct regular risk analysis and suggest corrective actions needed to solve any deficiencies in our processes.
Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience as a Process Safety Engineer is also required
- Must complete all needed certifications
- Must have a working knowledge of safety laws and regulations as they apply to our manufacturing processes
- Must be a strong team leader that can collaborate well with others
- Must be detail-oriented and a strong communicator
- Must possess strong critical thinking and analysis skills
