Job brief
We are looking for a Layout Designer to join our team and design the layout of pages, covers, and other related material ensuring the best quality possible of our publishings.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm new ideas to integrate advertisements into the text.
- Arrange page elements for printed media and screens.
- Coordinate with the publication team in each project.
- Define image and text size for each page.
- Proofread and prepare for final approval.
- Alter image aspect ratios for optimal display.
- Analyze successful campaigns and adjust strategy and process accordingly.
- Using online publishing tools to upload content to the internet.
- Obtaining feedback from the members of the team.
- Assuring that the design is visually appealing.
- Assisting the Junior Artist with template creation.
- Keeping up with the most recent design trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in graphic design, visual arts, or related field
- 3+ years of experience
- Proficient in Photoshop, Quark, and Illustrator
- Exceptional visual design skills
- Strong drawing and artistic skills
- Outstanding communication abilities
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional knowledge of typography and composition
- Ability to meet deadlines
