Job brief
We are looking for an Investment Analyst to perform financial research and from that develop reports to present to investors regarding risks, opportunities, and new financial products that may provide a good return on investment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze market and economic trends, financial statements, earnings potential, and various other markers and factors to identify appropriate investment strategies.
- Correspond with fund managers and build relations with professionals in the industry.
- Closely monitor the financial news and stay up to date on market trends, risks, opportunities, and other investment products.
- Review investment decisions and thought procedures for building those investment decisions.
- Create complex financial models and assess legal documents.
- Create advisory reporting and produce informed suggestions on new investment chances and funds that could build on or diversify financial portfolios.
- Analyzing financial statements, profit and loss statements, and cash flow data.
- Decipher complicated financial data.
- Write financial research summaries.
- Meetings with firm executives, stock market traders, fund managers, and stockbrokers on a regular basis.
- Making educated suggestions.
- Conducting research to provide information and ideas for new investments to fund managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting Degree
- 2+ years of experience analyzing investments
- Deep knowledge of financial procedures, economics, statistics, and set-ups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Affinity with numbers, and quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
