We are seeking a diverse, driven, and dynamic International Candidate Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a vast amount of experience with overseas recruitment and a solid understanding of the processes involved. The focus of the role will be to seek and acquire the best possible talent from overseas where it is not readily available in the current location.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executives, directors, and department managers to understand their requirements for overseas workers, and what the role involves.
- Write effective and eye-catching job descriptions and post them onto job boards that specifically target workers from the selected country or area.
- Sign up to and use resume databases internationally to source and headhunt candidates in the relevant locations with the relevant skills and abilities.
- Conduct online interviews with shortlisted candidates and assist them with understanding the process.
- Implement and develop effective recruitment strategies to fill open positions with overseas workers.
- Ensure the ATS and CRM systems are updated with potential candidate's information to create a pool of open candidates for future openings.
- Work independently to research market trends, competitor results, and methods in the field and apply them where required to maximize exposure on the international market.
- Be compliant with, and understand all legal requirements for hiring international staff, such as work permits, visas, and tax laws.
- Ensure all new starters are onboarded properly and set up for payroll in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the recruitment team to cross-reference candidates and ensure no candidate is missed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business, or other related field, or equivalent work experience and education
- Demonstrated experience working as a recruiter on an international basis
- Experience using recruitment databases and or ATS systems or other CRM software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of Recruitment best practices, along with all legislation relating to hiring overseas workers
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good organizational abilities and able to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Able to work without supervision and independently research leading new technologies and methods
- Proficient with all Microsoft packages including, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Able to engage with people of all levels from directors to the front line staff
- Demonstrated experience of hitting targets and department KPIs
