We are on the lookout for a passionate, dynamic, and organized Internal Recruiter to join our resource team! The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in the recruitment and HR field and be able to effectively source and screen a variety of candidates for various roles. The main focus of the role will be to provide support and act as a resource to the entire company to fill their open vacancies with the best possible talent.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with department hiring managers to fully understand the requirements for the open role.
- Write effective job adverts and post them on various recruitment platforms.
- Manage job advertising budgets.
- Review incoming resumes and effectively screen them.
- Create shortlists of the best candidates.
- Ensure strong candidates are contacted quickly.
- Complete initial screening of candidates such as telephone interviews.
- Arrange in-person interviews with either the HR team or the Hiring Manager.
- Use an ATS or similar system to track applications and keep them up to date.
- Conduct background and reference checks for suitable candidates.
- Ensure new starter documentation is received.
- Work in line with HR best practices.
- Keep up with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in HR, or business or other related field
- 2 years experience in a recruiting or HR position where involvement in recruitment or onboarding was present
- Experience using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in using ATS systems and various job advertising platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Great time management skills and able to effectively prioritize own workload
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Able to speak to different types of people from different backgrounds
- Persuasive in nature
- Excellent customer service skills
- Out of the box thinking approach to draw in new candidates
- Able to identify skills and abilities for suitable internal applicants applying for open roles
