Job brief
We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to provide direct support to the business and its IT on security issues. Represents the security necessities of the company. The role is focused primarily on operational security administration.
Responsibilities
- With limited supervision, oversees installation and maintenance of information systems.
- Monitors and advice on information security-related issues.
- Performs various day-to-day security administration of security infrastructures.
- Make security reports and perform risk analysis.
- Publish and update security policies for the organization.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Security departments to manage security vulnerabilities.
- Install and use software to secure sensitive data, such as firewalls and data encryption applications.
- Prepare reports that detail security breaches as well as the magnitude of the damage they create.
- Review computer security procedures violations and discuss procedures with violators to ensure that violations do not occur again.
Requirements
- Technical degree or certification
- 4-6+ years of IT and security work
- 1-2+ years of information security experience
- Working knowledge of firewalls, network security, password management, data encryption, and access control
