Job brief
We are seeking a safety-focused, service-orientated Inflight Supervisor to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience within the aviation industry as a supervisor or manager, with a focus on safety and quality of service to our valued passengers. The focus of the role will be to ensure safety on board the aircraft and assist with de-escalating and resolving issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality training, assessment, and continuous improvement to flight attendants and other staff members as required.
- Ensure compliance across all areas of in-flight operations, including regulatory and policy compliance.
- Direct, supervise and manage the in-flight operations team.
- Provide ready support and guidance to the team where questions or uncertainty arise.
- Analyze, evaluate and improve, where required, the general operation and productivity of the in-flight team.
- Conduct and report on incidents involving either staff members or passengers.
- Complete administrative tasks where required concerning the in-flight team.
- Complete regular performance reviews with team members, monitor attendance, and make reports where required.
- Support the management team with any other duties as required.
Requirements
- Associate degree or above in business, customer services, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a flight attendant
- 1 year of experience working in a leadership or supervisory role would be an advantage
- Excellent leadership abilities
- Strong knowledge of FAA guidelines and compliance procedures
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the relevant flight attendant’s handbook
- Keen eye for detail
- Safety focused
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to de-escalate heated or volatile situations
- Strong computer skills with the ability to write and present reports
- Strong analytical abilities
