Industrial Organizational Psychologist job brief

Our fast-growing organization is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Industrial Organizational (IO) professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our clients in developing effective business strategies and improving their overall organizational performance.

Industrial Organizational Psychologist responsibilities

  • Conduct research on organizational processes and strategies to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to optimize workplace productivity and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and analyze data related to employee job satisfaction, engagement, and performance management to provide insightful recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct job analysis and create job descriptions and competencies for clients.
  • Design and facilitate training programs to develop employee skills and knowledge.
  • Design and conduct employee surveys to gather feedback, identify issues and employee satisfaction.
  • Develop and administer assessment tools to effectively evaluate employee skills and competency in line with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology or related discipline
  • A Master's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology or a related field may be required for certain positions
  • Experience in organizational research, survey design, and data analysis with a demonstrated ability to provide actionable insights that drive results
  • Experience in developing and conducting employee training programs
  • Strong knowledge of job analysis methodology and psychometric tools
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that drive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite, statistical software, and data visualization tools
