Job brief
We are seeking to hire a Hydrologist to develop and maintain water techniques and strategies. You will need to measure the quantity of water and its properties. You will also be required to predict floods and droughts, as well as forecast water supplies with the help of computer-aided technology.
Responsibilities
- Measure and analyze water properties.
- Devise strategies to improve water quality.
- Analyze water and soil samples.
- Predict floods and droughts and forecast supplies.
- Measure environmental impacts.
- Monitor pollution levels.
- Run technical/computer-aided models to review the data.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry
- At least 1 year of experience as a hydrologist
- Well aware of GIS and GPS applications
- Experienced in operation of computer-aided models
- Skills to present and communicate along with conceptual skills
- Diploma or degree in Hydrology or related field
