Job brief
We are seeking a detail-orientated, adaptable and dynamic HRIS administrator to join our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in systems administration and IT as well as a good understanding of the HR department functions and requirements. The focus of the role will be to obtain and accurately record HR information along with proving general support to department managers and the HR time as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to obtain and analyze business needs and lead the planning, development, testing, and implementation of the relevant systems.
- Identify opportunities for automation within the HR process.
- Collaborate with external IT vendors on system implementation & support User Acceptance testing.
- Encourage and conduct regular reviews to support the implementation of HR system upgrades and patches where required.
- Evaluate and implement tools to help improve and maintain data integrity.
- Independently research and maintain current knowledge on new and emerging HRIS trends.
- Take part in and lead projects focused on continuous improvement and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, IT, Business administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience and education
- Demonstrated knowledge of working with HRIS systems including ATS and CRM systems
- Good leadership qualities with the ability to explain information to various types of people
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to effectively manage own workload and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Great analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in an HR or IT administration role
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent listening abilities
- Able to research and identify new trends in the HRIS industry and apply them where appropriate
