Our company is seeking a highly organized and motivated Health Hiring Specialist to join our team. The Health Hiring Specialist will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new healthcare professionals while also managing employee relations and retention. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting for the healthcare industry and will demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Hiring Specialist responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract and hire quality healthcare professionals for various positions, including nurses, physicians, and support staff.
- Manage the full recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, resume reviewing, candidate interviewing, conducting reference checks, and negotiating job offers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and to determine candidate qualifications and characteristics.
- Maintain and update HR information systems to ensure accurate and timely candidate tracking.
- Conduct new hire orientations and manage the onboarding process for new employees.
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to employees, managers, and leaders on employee relations, performance management, and compliance with company policies.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, practices, and programs to promote positive company culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting and employee relations, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance with HR policies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence decision-making
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with HRIS systems and candidate tracking software
